How to remove Windows 8 password prompt at login- Press “Windows Key + R”.
- Type “netplwiz”.
- If prompted by UAC, then click or tap: Yes.
- User Account pop windows will appear.
- Uncheck the "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer box", and click or tap on Apply.
- Enter the password for that user so it will auto login when you start Windows 8.
