Cyber Attack on Pokemon Go Website To Take Down.
New Trending game called Pokemon Go got Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) Attack this weekend.
There are two Hackers group PoodleCorp and OurMine are claiming that, they took down Pokemon Go website servers with DDOS Attack on 16 and 17 July 2016. Users complained that they were unable to play the Game.
Our Mine said,
Today We will attack “Pokemon Go” Login Servers! so no one will be able to play this game till Pokemon Go contact us on our website to teach them how to protect it!
We will attack it after 3-4 hours! Be ready!
Our Mine group was recently noticed by targeting top CEO and Tech leaders including Google CEO, Sundar Pichai, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey.
According to Techcrunch A DDoS attack works by flooding a server with traffic so that it can’t be accessed by legitimate users. OurMine tried to prove that it was behind the attack on Pokemon Go by notifying TechCrunch before the attack started.
Second group called name Poodle Corp also claimed to have attacked Pokemon Go this weekend:
