New York Times And BBC Twitter Account Gets Hacked And Posted Fake News About US President Donald Trump and Russian President Putin.
Fake tweets posted from @NYTvideo and @BBC Northampton which is verified Twitter account.
Cyber attackers hacked the NYTvideo twitter account and tweeted,
BREAKING: leaked statement from Vladimir Putin says: Russia will attack the United States with Missiles.”Whereas Twitter account of BBC Northampton tweeted about US President Trump
“Breaking News: President Trump is injured in the arm by gunfire #Inauguration.”
Both fake tweets was deleted shortly but it had been retweeted by other users.
We deleted a series of tweets published from this account earlier today without our authorization. We are investigating the situation.— New York Times Video (@nytvideo) January 22, 2017

A BBC spokesman confirmed the account had been hacked and said: "We are investigating and taking steps to ensure this does not happen again."
BBC asked to OurMine Hackers group about these attacks, they said
"We didn't hack it at the first time. We saw unusual activity on the account and we re-hacked it to make sure if the account was hacked or not, and unfortunately it was hacked.
"We just tweeted that someone hacked it.
"We never hack anyone for no reason. We are a security group."
But the real question is arise here, is Twitter really Safe? Might be there are some Zero day exploits are available with these hacking groups.
